THINK AND PLAN
We speak often in dreams.
Very few times in awake dreams
But awake dreaming is so important because with them we imagine possible future situations that we want to achieve.
These awake dreams are an instrument of thought and planning.
We think in the future because we know we can reach it.!
Hope is the foundation of thought.

Sorry, but I must disagree with your final quote. In my opinion the real basis of our thoughts are the dreams.
sorry my dear the only basis of thought is not dream.dream as i have said are the basis of our superconsciousness.
i was sayind that the awkwed dreams are all that allows us to continue , but without hope we can not do nothing, so itis the basis of thought.
what you have said i say it in several thoughts i have posted. This is particular case of dream :The awked dream.so no contradition at all.
